Click here	Tale of the Cat May 31 - June 6, 1999 Caitano beats 14:10-favourite Tiger Hill in Baden-Baden´s Group II event • 2yo Stand By King fetches 70.000 DM at Baden-Baden Breeze Up sale • Ungaro´s brother Universus finishes fifth in Derby Italiano • 7yo Auenadler first German-bred to win sprint event Benazet-Rennen since 1985 • Caitano beats Tiger Hill, was the surprise result of Grosser Preis der Baden Airpark, the main event at Baden-Baden´s spring meeting. Carrying six pounds more than Caitano, last year´s Arc third Tiger Hill was defeated with half a length, having had to make his own pace from the start. Tiger Hill is supposed to go to France next (Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud, Group I), while Caitano´s main seasonal aim might be the Melbourne Cup. He has never raced beyond Derby distance, but is a true globetrotter, having competed in Japan, Italy, France, USA, Hong Kong and Dubai. Baden Airpark probable Hamond was withdrawn in the morning of the race. A lightly raced four-year-old, he is highly regarded and might play a major role in this year´s top staying events.
